About the R.J. Snipes Foundation
The R.J. Snipes Foundation (RJSF) is a beacon of hope and support dedicated to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need. Established as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2018 and based in Philadelphia, PA, our roots run deep with a history of global humanitarian projects dating back to 2004 through R.J. Snipes Exports.
Our Mission
Our mission is multifaceted reflecting our commitment to various humanitarian causes:
- Disaster Relief: Specializing in disaster relief for the indigent, we have rebuilt villages in the Philippines, Africa, Haiti, and Armenia after natural disasters. Our efforts extend beyond borders, now; providing support to cities within the United States.
- Clothing Drives: Recognizing the essential need for clothing, we have organized numerous drives to collect and distribute apparel to those who need it most.
- Scholarship Fund: Education is a cornerstone of empowerment. Our scholarship fund aims to provide opportunities for deserving students, helping them pursue their dreams.
- Sports and Recreation: From restocking books to distributing soccer balls and sports equipment, we believe in the holistic development of communities, including the joy of play and learning.
- Orphanage Support: Our heart reaches out to the most vulnerable, providing love and care to orphaned children.
Our Approach
For over 20 years, our founder has been helping out whenever he could; starting with small acts of kindness and growing into a global movement. People reach out to the RJ Snipes Foundation to request assistance, and we do our utmost to respond. If we cannot help directly, we will refer individuals to an organization or company that can.
